Clough is proud to announce that is has signed a partnership agreement with Loop Upcycling (Loop) to reduce textile waste from all its projects in Australia.

Clough CEO and Managing Director, Peter Bennett, said: “We are committed to making a positive impact to the communities in which we work and live and this partnership with Loop provides employment opportunities to micro business and vulnerable groups while reducing landfill waste.”

Loop Upcycling said: “We welcome the support received by Clough and look forward to what we will achieve together providing employment and work skill development to people with disabilities, refugees and vulnerable groups.”

Clough aims to embed sustainability in every aspect of the project lifecycle throughout our global operations on a social, economic and environmental level. Through this partnership, Loop will create duffle bags, laundry bags, bucket hats and other travel products and accessories by upcycling every component of PPE shirts, jackets and pants, that otherwise will end up in landfill.

Loop was created to minimise waste, and to support organisations by providing employment for their community. Loop works with companies to reduce their waste and create a social impact in the community. They achieve this by upcycling unwanted materials, such as PPE, into new products for companies to use.
